Wichita, Kansas - Leilani "Lani" Beyette, 79, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022. She was born January 28, 1943 to James and Eva (Snyder) Carter in Denver, CO.
Lani was known for her motherly personality and her ability to listen and provide counsel when needed. She was a lifelong avid reader and enjoyed participating in book clubs. Lani enjoyed decorating cakes and was proud to have made the wedding cakes for her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Beyette; granddaughters, Breanna Boss, Lori Boss, and Stephanie Boss; and brother, Corvelle "Corky" Carter. Lani is survived by her children, Fred (Jill) Beyette, Jr., Rindy (Bob) Boss, and Scott Beyette; and grandchildren, Bitel Beyette, Olyvia Beyette, Claire Beyette, Andrew Boss, Anna Beyette, and Steven Boss.
Memorial Service: 2 pm, Friday, November 4, 2022 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2525 N. Rock Rd., Wichita, KS 67226.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 8918 W. 21st N. #248, Wichita, KS 67205.
