Kenneth Bruce Kurschner

Kenneth Bruce Kurschner Age 77, of Barron, WI, died Sunday, July 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 10, 1946 in Prairie Farm, WI to Leslie and Esther (Kallenbach) Kurschner. Ken was married to Jeanette Nelson on January 20, 1968 in Belvidere, Illinois and then became a cheese maker for many different companies. He loved rebuilding and fixing cars, ice fishing, going to the cabin with his family, riding 4 wheeling and ATV, cooking and baking. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Kurschner; 2 daughters, Melissa (Bryon) Dirkes and Tammy (Shawn) Hustad; 4 grandchildren, Shane, Evan, Jeannie and Alyssa; 2 great grandchildren, Clint and Alaina; 2 brothers, Richard (Jill) Kurschner and Doug Kurschner; a sister, Kay Lammers; many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Esther Kurschner; a brother, Ray Kurschner; 2 sisters, Carol Glaser and Ruby Gonsowski. A celebration of his life will be from 11AM-1PM Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Assembly of God Church in Rice Lake, with a prayer service to begin at 1PM, with interment in the Viola Lake Cemetery in Webster, WI. Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
