Leonard, Kenneth “Sonny” W.; age 62; a West Burke resident died Monday, September 26, 2005 at his residence.

Born October 8, 1943 in Lyndon Corner he is the son of the late Howard L. and Edith L. (Rexford) Leonard. He attended schools in both Lyndonville and west Burke, he later married Faith L. Aiken, June 24, 1967, together they raised three children. He was a woodworker at Concord Woodworking and Lyndon State College. Sonny’s family was the most important part of his life, his granddaughter Elizabeth and dog Cuddles were his pride and joy, they will miss him dearly.

Sonny is survived by his loving wife, Faith of West Burke; three children, Kenneth Leonard, Jr. of West Burke; Steven Leonard of Lyndonville; Jerry Leonard and wife Laura of Lyndonville; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Leonard of Lyndonville. Sisters, Janice Brooks of Wheelock; Helen Manteuffel and husband David of White Bear Lake, MN; a special uncle Norman and wife Audrey of Lyndonville; several nieces and nephews and great nephews.. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Elwin “Peno” Leonard.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 P.M,.at the Pearsons Funeral Home, located at 70 Church St., Lyndonville. A Funeral service will be Wednesday 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Donald Vincent, officiating. Interment will follow in the Lyndon Center Cemetery.
