Kenneth S. Lightizer

Kenneth S. Lightizer, 66, of Peabody, died Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness.
Born in Malden on January 25, 1956, he was the son of the late Everett E. Lightizer, Jr. and the late Marguerite V. (Petersen) Lightizer. He was raised and educated in Peabody and had been a lifelong Peabody resident.
Ken had been employed for many years as an autobody mechanic at Bob Brest Buick in Lynn.
He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid animal lover who was especially devoted to his dog, Cheyenne. He also looked forward to Sunday dinners with his family each week.
He leaves two siblings, Sally Savage of Topsfield and John Lightizer and his wife Patricia of Danvers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken s memory may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970. Arrangements are by C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
