Rev. Kenneth Locklear was born on Friday, March 9, 1956 in Robeson County and was born into eternity on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at FirstHealth Moore Regional in Pinehurst, completing his journey of 69 years.
He was preceding in death by his mother: Agnes Locklear, his grandparents that raised him: Lofton Locklear and Rose Jones Locklear; two siblings: Michael Carpenter and Tammie Groves.
Rev. Locklear began his journey of faith at Faith Assembly of God. After his studies in the secular world he enrolled in Lumbee River Christian Collage (Then Native American Bible Collage) and after finishing his studies he was Licensed in 1998 with the North Carolina District Council of Assemblies of God. He graduated on April 30, 2011 from Native American Bible College. Rev. Kenny completed several courses at Campbell University and Pembroke for Genealogy. As the Lead Pastor at Raeford Assembly of God in Raeford, NC, he served his fellowman and God for 28 years. Along with ministry he delivered bread for many years and was the sole proprietor of Franklin Baking Co. He also delivered milk for Borden, Merita and Wonder companies. In his down time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and traveling.
Rev Kenny leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Connie Frances Locklear of 47 years of the home; one son: Jacob Wayne Locklear and wife Chelsea of Fayetteville; one daughter: Angelica Ruby Locklear of St. Pauls; for siblings, Jo Ann Caputo of Fayetteville, Jimmy Groves of Lumberton Evelyn Locklear Brandicourt of France and David Carpenter of Oregan. In addition to his children, he leaves to cherish his memories, his three grandchildren, Arabella Rayne Locklear, Ares Raylin Locklear and Aurora Rose Locklear; as well as a host of special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be 12:00 Noon Monday, November 17, 2025 at Faith Assembly of God in St. Pauls with the burial following in the Jones Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Faith Assembly of God in St. Pauls.
The service has been entrusted to Boles-Saint Pauls Funeral Home in St. Pauls.
