Kenneth Luebke, of Montevideo, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN at the age of 76.
Memorial services will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Pastor Sam Kautz will officiate and burial will be in Strombeck Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 4:45 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Kenneth Karl Luebke was born on October 9, 1949, in Glencoe, MN, to Raymond and Phyllis (Gaulke) Luebke. He was baptized at First Evangelical Lutheran Church and confirmed at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, both in Glencoe. Ken attended Glencoe High School, graduating in 1967, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bemidji State University.
On May 26, 1973, Ken was united in marriage to Susan Alickson at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Princeton, MN. They built their life together in Montevideo, where Ken spent more than 25 years teaching science, having first begun his teaching career in Clara City. He was dedicated to his work and was honored during his career with the Bob Mills Memorial Award.
Ken was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo, where he enjoyed singing in the choir and contributing his time on the church council and the endowment committee. He also valued his involvement with the Evening Lions Club.
Ken appreciated staying active and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed sports, hunting, traveling, reading, and caring for his yard. Most important to him was his family, and he took great pride in supporting his children and grandchildren, attending their activities frequently.
Ken is survived by his wife, Sue of Montevideo; daughters, Alyson of Montevideo and Megan of Denver, CO.; grandson, Camden Helgeson of Montevideo; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tressa Mary; and granddaughter Hallie Helgeson.
