Kenneth Lee Mayhew
August 17, 1934 - August 28, 2025
Kenneth Lee Mayhew passed away at home in Leavenworth, Wash., on August 28, 2025 at the age of 91.
Ken's journey was filled with adventure and a desire to see the world. After active duty service, Ken remained in the Air Force Reserves, retiring as a Major in 1991. He worked as a mortgage broker, a bank branch manager, and a building inspector after retirement. He was member of the SMART retired military travel, Good Sam, and Winnebago Clubs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Helen Mayhew; three children, Karen Mayhew Strecker (husband Brad), Marta Betts (husband Drew), and Mark Mayhew; six grandchildren, Kaitlin Strecker, Cameron Strecker, Kaleb Mayhew, Madeline George, Ella Mayhew, and Ewan Betts; and three great-grandchildren, Kaden, Adaline, and Brynnley.
