Kenneth Timmy McCrea, age 64, passed away on November 14, 2025. He was born in Rochester, New York, and lived a life full of joy, laughter, and authenticity.
Kenneth was a man who truly enjoyed life on his own terms. He loved to cook and took great pride in caring for the collard greens and other vegetables he planted in his backyard. Music filled his soul, and being surrounded by his loved ones brought him his greatest happiness. A devoted sports fan, Kenneth especially loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and never missed a chance to cheer them on. He was known for always keeping it real, honest, genuine, and true to himself.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Belinda McCrea; son, Leviticus McCrea; his beloved granddaughter, Lailonni McCrea; his brother, Ronnie McCrea; and sisters, Flora Hills, Bernice McCrea, Margret Johnson, Denise Huffman, and Judy June. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, his in-laws, and his Scott family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Iola McCrea and Hezikiah McCrea, and his sister, Sylvia Lee McCrea.
Kenneth loved to have a good time and live life to the fullest, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He enjoyed being with his brother in-laws Coston Harmon, Gregory Langmade, Charles Cleveland. And sister in-laws Alberta Marshall, Cheryl Rutledge, Constance Ealy and many more. Kenneth Timmy McCrea will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
