Kenneth P. Michaud Sr., 74, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 7, 2026. He was the husband of the late Sherry (Murray) Michaud.
Kenny was born in Fairfield, ME on July 3, 1951 to the late Gerard Michaud Sr. and Lucille (Roberge) Michaud.
Kenny worked as a Quality Control Specialist at GE in Plainville prior to his retirement. A devoted Boston Red Sox fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his team and took immense pride in their 2018 World Series win. He also had a passion for movies and built an impressive collection over the years. Kenny lived a simple, quiet life, and nothing brought him greater joy than helping his children in any way he could.
Kenny is survived by his two sons and three grandchildren: Kenneth Michaud Jr. and his son, Tyler Michaud, of Southington, and Kasey Michaud of Meriden and his children, Skylar and Carter Michaud, of Southington. He also leaves his brother, Michael Michaud of Plainville, and two sisters, Betty Uadiski and her husband, Jesse and Linda Johnston and her husband, Gary all of ME, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Kenny was predeceased by his sister, Cynthia Michaud, and his brother, Gerard “Jerry” Michaud Jr.
