Kenneth Dale Mitch, a cherished husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, departed this life peacefully on November 14, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 73. Born on December 19, 1951, in Springfield, Ohio, Kenny's journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and the warm memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him.

Kenny attended Northeastern High School in South Vienna, Ohio, where he graduated in 1970. He spent an impressive career dedicated to International Truck and Engine from 1970 to 2002 and He also served as a Union Steward for them as well.  He then followed that by his long-standing association with the Greene County Fishing and Game Association from 2001 until 2024.

Those who loved Kenny remember him as a person of remarkable qualities: loving, smart, generous, hardworking, loyal, and always ready to bring laughter to any occasion with his good sense of humor. Kenny was particularly proud of his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the shining lights in his life. His enduring commitment to family shone brightly through his interactions and the time he generously spent with them.

In his leisure, Kenny found joy in fishing, hunting, and tracking, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and instill a love of the outdoors in the younger generations. Many cherished memories were made watching him umpire baseball games, playing softball, and engaging in dart matches, moments that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Martha Mitch, with whom he celebrated 25 wonderful years of marriage. His legacy continues through his parents, Dale Y. Mitch and the late Anna Mae Mitch, as well as his children, Tara (Chris) Slagle, Amanda (Jeff) Tolle, Angie (late Kevin) Profitt, Stacie Keys, and Jason (Dawn Denglinger) Keys. He cherished the laughter and joy brought by his grandchildren: Tristan, Tanner, Talen, Gavin, Boggan, Addison, Kaitlyn, Allison (Shane), Jessica (Max), Chase (Makayla), and Sophie, along with the light of his great-grandchildren: Ellie, Cameron, Lydia, Slade, Waylon, Georgia, Emma, Holden, James, and Mia. He is also survived by his brothers, Daniel (Peggy) Mitch and Steven Mitch.

Kennys life will be celebrated in a heartfelt event on December 6, 2025, at the Greene County Fish & Game Association located at 1538 Union Rd, Xenia, OH, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory starting at 2:00 PM.

In a world that is often fleeting, Kenneth Dale Mitch will forever remain a beacon of love and support for his family. His legacy lives on in the beautiful stories shared amongst those he loved dearly. Though he has left this earthly realm, his spirit and the values he instilled will echo through generations to come.
