Kenneth S. Moore was born February 11, 1941, in McNairy County, TN to the late William Henry and Jeffie Archer Moore. On March 2, 2024 in Jackson, Tennessee, he peacefully passed away at the age of 83 Years and 20 Days.

Kenneth shared a beautiful union with his beloved wife of 60 years, Linda S. Gilchrist. Their bond was evident to all who knew them – rarely apart and always by each other's side. Kenneth's faith was an integral part of his life as he attended Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church and New Salem Presbyterian Church in Bethel Springs, TN.

A dedicated employee at General Electric for three decades, Kenneth was a loving family man and a wonderful provider. His passions included hunting, fishing, gardening, and strumming melodies on his guitar. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life – watching westerns and boxing matches, sharing jokes, observing birds and squirrels in nature.

In his youth, Kenneth was fondly known as "Stud," a nickname that reflected his charming good looks. To his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he was known as "Papaw," a title filled with love and warmth.

Kenneth leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda S. Moore; daughters, Samantha Wainscott (Troy) of Paris, TN and Amanda Collins of Dyersburg, TN; grandchildren, Victor Collins (Julie), Marianne Collins, Laura Underwood (Drew), Peyton Phillips, Hannah Collins, Jay Wainscott (Erica), Cayce Wainscott (Taylor), Wes Wainscott; great-grandchildren, Madison Downing, Kiri Collins, Jacob Collins, JR Underwood, Mia Wainscott, Lew Wainscott; sister, Cleatous Thomas of McKenzie, TN; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded by his sons-in-law, Brad Collins and Paul Phillips III; three, sisters, Maggie Elam, Lavera Harris and Imogene Farris; seven brothers, James Henry, Melbourne Ray, Carl, Ray, Charlie, Guy Wade, and Tedford Moore.
