August 6, 1949 - September 6, 2024

Age 75, late of Hegewisch, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" Novacich (nee Ell). Loving father of Nicholas J. Novacich and Kevin A. Novacich. Kind brother of Lydia (late Bill) Pope and John (Holly) Novacich. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Jacob and Erna Novacich. Kenneth was a retired sergeant with the Chicago Police Department after 38 years. He proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Kenneth will be greatly missed by his canine companions, Shadow and Gizmo. Visitation 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Opyt Funeral Home 13350 S.
