Kenneth J. Orleanski, age 73, a cherished husband and beloved father, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Albany Medical Center with his devoted wife by his side.

Born on June 12, 1952 in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Walter and Febbiola (Wozniak) Orleanski. He graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1970, and was a machine operator at Kapstone Container until his retirement in 2015.

On August 24, 1979, Ken married his true companion and best friend, Kathy (Masterson) Orleanski. He is also survived by his cherished daughter, Sara Orleanski, his sister Joan Ready (Jim), brother Robert Orleanski, brother-in-law Jim Masterson, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ken's love for his family was paralleled only by his passion for the outdoors and his affection for nature. Ken, Kathy, and Sara made lifelong memories during their annual trips to Ogunquit, Maine. Not one to remain idle, Ken was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Please consider making a donation in Ken's memory to Russell Sage College (write Moving Message Fund in the memo line), and mail it to Julie Hart, The Aphasia Center at Russell Sage, 140 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
