Born on January 2, 1958, in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Ernest and Hilda (Cheney) Bombard.
Dana's youthful heart found its joy in the beauty of the outdoors, sharing scenic walks with his beloved wife, Mary. His passion for nature was palpable as he cared for the deer in his backyard, a simple pleasure that brought him satisfaction. Professionally, Dana was a respected butcher at the old Meatland in Broadalbin Perth. Those who knew Dana could describe him in many ways but most often as adventurous, funny, and inexhaustibly kind
Dana leaves behind his dedicated wife Maryann Clark Salvione, his stepchildren Thomas D'Onofrio, Joey D'Onofrio (Winnie Morse), and Mary Insognia (Chris); his sister, Kim Bombard Aguilera; stepbrother, Eddie Sleezer; nephew, Jordan Russell.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
