Brenda Bombard Obituary

Brenda E. Bombard, 62, of Burgettstown, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on December 9, 1962 in Fairmont, W.V. a daughter of Gundi Litl Bombard of Oakdale and the late Franklin Bombard. Brenda was very well known in the area as a server and a waitress, always helping and listening to others. She worked at Denny's in Washington and Robinson Twp., the Cherry Valley Sportsman's Club and most recently the Burgettstown Italian Club. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Roger Bombard and his wife Cristie of Oakdale; grandchildren, Richard Stephen Faessel, Jr., Abigail Renee Makowiecki and Madison Bombard; her sister, Rita Rosenthal of South Carolina; and many aunts, uncles, and friends whom were like family to her. Deceased in addition to her father is her beloved son, Richard Stephen Faessel who passed away on January 21, 2020 and her brother Raymond E. Bombard. Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. the time of a Catholic Blessing Service officiated by Fr. John Ferguson of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Brenda will be laid to rest with her son Ricky on Friday June 20, 2025 in the Enterprise Cemetery in Fairmont, W.V. www.Burgettstown.SlaterFuneral.com
