Kenneth was born to LeRoy and Berniece
Peterson on October 24,1959 in Bastrop, Tx. He
graduated from Bastrop High School, in 1979.
He was preceded in death by both his parents,
Bernice M Peterson and LeRoy Peterson Sr two
sisters Ivory Nell and Gloria Jean and five
brothers are Arthur Charles, Leslie Ray, Carl
Anthony, Ralph and LeRoy Peterson Jr
He is survived by his daughters Kennesia &
Shenneka Peterson and a son, Thomas
Peterson, grandchildren Shylind Washington,
Aaron McDonald Jr and Kenneyah Johnson. He
is also survived by his sisters, Gwendolyn
McGrew of Houston, Texas, Lossie Peterson of
Bastrop and Ruth Felix, Brenda Wright (Michael),
Loretta Price (Michael) all of Austin Texas. A
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
Kenneth retired from or the City of Austin in 2018
after serving for 30+ years. He enjoyed riding his
motorcycle with his friends and touring the
country, working on cars and landscaping.
A viewing is scheduled for 9:00 am November 2,
2024and funeral are scheduled for, 10am at
Mount Rose Baptist Church. A reception will
follow. Pastor Douglas Deshay will officiate the
ceremony.

Our sincere condolences to the family of "KP" (as we knew him). We shared many good times and memories while riding our motorcycle with "KP" and others, and looked forward to seeing him each year that our group of friends joined to support families in need during our Christmas Toy Runs in Columbus, Texas. May God and your memories of good times spent with Kenneth help comfort you now and in the days to come.
