Kenneth F. Pinckney
Fair Haven- Kenneth Francis Pinckney, 76 of Fair Haven died Wednesday April
6, 2022 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 27, 1946 in Manhattan, NY the son of Cornell Frederick
and Mabel (Stewart) Pinckney.
Mr. Pinckney enlisted into the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam war
prior to his honorable discharge.

He was employed by the New York Life Insurance company for several years and
then as a fire fighter with the FDNY New York City Fire Department for many years prior to
relocating to Fair Haven in 2016.
Survivors include a son Kenneth Pinckney of Fair Haven, a step-daughter
Kelley Fletcher of Virginia, a step-son John Fletcher of New York City, NY,
and 2 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Cecelia Pinckney on September 25, 2019.
A service with military honors will be held 1pm Tuesday April 12, 2022 in
the chapel at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A private burial will
follow.
Arrangements are with the Durfee Funeral Home, 119 North Main St, Fair
Haven, VT
