Kenneth Poole Obituary
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Inez Thompson Poole and his sister-in-law, Barbara Poole.
He is survived by his brothers, Larry Poole of Jasper, GA., Ray (Shelia) Poole of Canton, GA., his sisters, Marcia (Danny) Garrett of Jasper, GA., Patsy (Jerry) Brooks of White, GA., and a maternal aunt, Arlene Crowe of Jasper, GA.
Kenneth leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends, family, neighbors, and his little dog Millie.
Kenneth spent his days running the family farm-raising cows, mending fences, cutting hay, and planting a garden every year. He was the self-appointed keeper of the family recipes and happily shared them when asked. A favorite task was making jelly and he had recipes for most any kind you could imagine.
Kenneth loved talking with folks about everything in the world and could always share a surprising opinion. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew him.
The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 1:00pm-8:00pm, Friday December 19, 2025, from 11:00am-8:00pm and Saturday December 20, 2025, from 11:00am-1:30pm. Kenneth's funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday December 20, 2025, at Philadelphia Baptist church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
