Kenneth "Ken" Rasmussen,74, of Fergus Falls, formerly of Clitherall, died Wednesday, September 11, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, at his residence.
Kenneth Gene Rasmussen was born August 18, 1950, to Teman and Adeline (Nelson) Rasmussen in Fergus Falls. He grew up in Clitherall and spent the majority of his life on Clitherall Lake.
In 1968 Ken graduated from Battle Lake High School and after high school attended Alexandria Technical School. Ken served his country in the Army National Guard from 1969-1975. He was employed as a truck driver and was owner/operator for Warren Transport, Dresser Industries and also Landstar. He retired in October of 2020.
On July 10, 1971, Ken was united in marriage to Patsy Johansen in Underwood.
Ken loved going to auctions and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Preceding him death were his parents, Teman and Adeline Rasmussen and father-in-law, Vernon Johansen.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patsy Rasmussen of Fergus Falls and her extended family, as well as his cat, Benny.
Per Ken's wishes there will be no services.
