Kenneth J. Rice
Age 89, passed away peacefully Thursday February 19, 2026 at the Cottages in New Lenox.
Survived by three daughters Cathy (Steve) Ducharme, Cindy (Dennis) Ludden and Jodi (Marshall) Dirks; grandchildren Stephanie (Joseph) Brown, Matthew (Ashley) Ducharme, Connor (AnneShirley), Austin and Taylor Dirks; great grandchildren Sadie Ducharme, Steve Brown, Shawn Brown, Macy Ducharme and Michael Ducharme. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife Margaret Rice; one grandson Michael Ducharme; parents Millard and Marie Rice; two brothers Bill Rice and Jack (Marge) Rice.
Born in Joliet, a life long area resident. Ken retired from Eco Lab. He loved fishing, biking, and cars if restoring or watching races.
Visitation Sunday March 1, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:30 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.
