Kenneth Lee Richards

Kenneth Lee Richards, 89-year-old Ketchum resident, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on May 27, 1936, in Bakersfield, California to Milton R. and Edna Mae (Heinrichs) Richards. Kenneth grew up and graduated from Bakersfield Schools. On June 17, 1956, he married the love of his life, Frances Kathleen (Mays) Richards in Loma Linda, California. Kenneth worked in Loma Linda for a time but was an expert in architectural plans and drawings. He was a member of the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Frances in 2020, two sons, Brian Dean Richards and Danny Louis Richards, and a daughter, Nancy Richards.

The family includes his sister Deloris Gaven and brother Donnie Richards, numerous other relatives and friends.

Services are pending and will be announced later by the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita. "Vinita's only locally family owned and operated funeral home."
