Kenneth "Davis" Saunders

RALEIGH – Kenneth "Davis" Saunders, age 28, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born in Nash County, NC on July 15, 1994.
Davis was blessed with a charismatic personality and a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed music, especially playing the guitar, spending time outdoors with family and friends, was a natural leader, and loved working with his co-workers at Scientific Calibration in Cary. A loving and devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and dear friend to many, Davis will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Davis is survived by his wife, Hannah O'Conner Saunders; his parents, Kenneth Wayne Saunders and Jan Hux Saunders; his sister, Jessica Allen and husband, Daniel; his father and mother-in-law, Harry and Karen O'Conner; his brothers-in-law, Jacob O'Conner and Matthew O'Conner; and nieces and nephews, Slade Allen, Macy Allen, Benjamin Feid, and Sydney Allen.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Davis's life will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, 12200 Bayleaf Church Road, Raleigh, NC 27614, with Rev. Justin Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield, NC.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804, and prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, March 28, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Bay Leaf Baptist Church in Raleigh.
