Kenneth Sharp

Kenneth Dale Sharp died at age 92 of natural causes on November 17, 2025, at Beehive Homes Assisted Living in Glendale, AZ. Kenneth was born on March 23, 1933, in Idabel, OK. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Claud and Marie (Pittman) Sharp, his brothers, Doyle Sharp, Harold Sharp. Jimmy Sharp, his wife Cecelia Lou (Sammons) Sharp, his sons Gary Dale Sharp and Steven Wayne Sharp. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Blackburn Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma.Kenneth is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Sandra Gayle (Sharp) Young and Chris, Deborah Kaye (Sharp) Sutton and Eddie, Lisa Diann (Layton) Jensen and Tom. Kenneth was blessed with six Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild, Summer, TaraLeigh, Beth, Chrissy, Brooks, Alexa & Kenny. Kenneth served in the Army and then worked for Western Electric Co. 30 years before retiring. He went on to have other careers including real estate, casino sports book, and had many passions including golfing, & horse racing, Kenneth grew up on a farm and enjoyed his own farm for many years in Bethel Acres, OK, with an additional large acreage to raise many cows and horses. Kenneth moved to Oklahoma City and loved his home there and spending time in the pool with his family. After Cecelia retired from Southwestern Bell, they moved to Las Vegas, NV, where he managed a casino sports book, and had another business with their daughter Lisa. Many friends and family visited them regularly and they loved entertaining them. They moved to Kentucky to be with Cecelia's family and loved to go to the car races with her uncle. He and Cecelia eventually moved to Arizona to be with their children and grandchildren.Kenneth had a great sense of humor, and he loved telling stories and making everyone laugh.
