Kenneth "Chip" Duwayne Siembida Jr., age 60 of
Elyria, Ohio passed away Monday, July 14, 2025. He was born April 8, 1965, to parents Kenneth Siembida and Judith Graham (nee Baker) in Memphis, Tennessee.
Chip grew up in
Elyria, Ohio, moving away from Memphis at a very young age. He attended Elyria West High School where his love of sports and athletics grew. Chip met his wife, Cynthia, while in high school, and they were married on November 14, 1987. He got his CDL and began working as an over-the-road truck driver.
Chip was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians as well as The Ohio State Buckeyes. He could almost always be seen wearing either a Cleveland sports shirt or his AC/DC tee. Chip was a devoted father, often taking his children on his long hauls across the country. When home from his trips, Chip would spend all his time with his children and grandchildren, cooking up delicious burgers and Sloppy Joe's for everyone to enjoy.
Chip is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Siembida; beloved children, Christina (Timothy Rainey) Siembida, Jacob Siembida, and Ashley Siembida; cherished grandchildren Adrien, Jacob Jr., Payton, A'Riyah, Jace, and Carter; devoted parents Ken Siembida and Judy Graham; dear sister Leslie Siembida; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother William Baker Siembida and mother and father-in-law Donald and Arlene Rosta.
