Kenneth Ray Sisk, 65, of Mount Holly, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Robin Johnson Hospice House. He was born in Gaston County, on September 17, 1955, the son of the late Robert and Lena Stuart Sisk. Kenneth loved hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons. In his youth, he enjoyed competing in dirt track racing and won several trophies for his accomplishments. He also enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Kenneth sang, played the drums and guitar in the classic southern rock band the "Rusty Bridge Band". Above all, he loved his family and grandchildren.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Kenneth Samuel Sisk and girlfriend, Cheyenne Eckard, Misty Sisk and husband Jonathan, Brian Allen Buchanan and wife Amanda, Ira Neal Buchanan; siblings, Charles “Ed” Sisk, Geraldine “Bonnie” Collins, David “Preach” Sisk and wife Doris; and his grandchildren, Devin, Brady, and Chloe.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, 1:00 P.M., at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services of Mount Holly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
