Kenneth Richard Solvey, age 63, of Louisville, passed away at 11:58 a.m., September 15, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. He was born January 7, 1950, in Canton, Ohio, to John and Nina (Nordick) Solvey. Kenneth was employed by Republic Steel Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles. Survivors include his parents; three daughters, Tina Johnson, Nina (Bryant) Settle and Sarina (Chad) Payne; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda, John, Barbara, Diane, Marsha, Candy and Haas; and his companion, Donna. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.

I can't believe you're gone....so many good memories over the years. Every New Years Eve, every July 4th at Rick and Rose's place...the jam sessions, the bonfires...we all laughed alot. Everyone was always welcome in your home. Fun times gone forever, but never to be forgotten. RIP my friend.

You will be missed! Ill always remember all the bonfires & how you always made me laugh & you would bring your karaoke stuff & how you would sing & play your guitar. Also seeing you & my dad & uncle Pete on your motorcycles & goofin around & even when you guys were building things together. You are all up in heaven runnin wild. Thank you for my first car you sold me & being a wonderful cousin! We will miss you!
