Kenneth E. Steele, age 77, of Jamestown, passed away on May 28, 2024. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, on September 7, 1946, the son of the late Dewey and Martha Steele. He was the youngest of six children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Steele; and three siblings.

Kenneth is survived by his loving children, Scott Steele and Stephanie (Judd) Quirk; grandchildren, Austin Steele, Zackary Steele, Chandler Steele, Mackenzie Quirk and Brady Quirk; siblings, Robert Steele and Anne (Don) Nill; and many other loving family and friends.

He served his country proudly by serving in the United States Marine Corps, during the Vietnam Era. Kenneth retired from Morris Bean in Cedarville.  In his free time, he was a Grandpa, Marine, vintage collector, dare devil, animal lover, adventurer, best friend and craftsman/woodworker. Kenneth will always be remembered for upholding the Steele family name. He was often thought of by those who knew him as friendly, respectful, responsible, honest, helpful, trustworthy and having the highest integrity, as well as many other things, including being a snappy dresser!

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm, with Russell Slate officiating. Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, Ohio.
