Kenneth Stone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home - Giddings on Jan. 4, 2024.
Kenneth E. Stone of Lexington Texas, formerly of Poolville Texas, passed from this life on January 2, 2024 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple Texas after battling a long illness.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Lexington Faith Temple Church, 1005 County Road 317 in Lexington. Visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., with the funeral services immediately following. Pastor Jim Moore will be Officiating.
Kenneth was born on July 18, 1957 in Fort Worth Texas to Edward Thomas and Bettie Ruth Stone.
In his younger days, Kenneth loved to travel the country on his motorcycle with his buddies.
He loved his little dog Dannie, and also enjoyed growing a garden and canning his produce. He was a great cook, and liked to fish and root for his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys.
Kenneth was a laser operator for Dralco Systems in Weatherford Texas until he retired.
Kenneth met his future wife Vicki online, and after lengthy correspondence, they finally met in person.
Their personalities clicked, and after 10 years of getting to know one another, they were married on August 6, 2021 at Lexington Faith Temple Church. Kenneth sold his home in Poolville and moved to Lexington to be with his bride. They enjoyed spending time together and occasionally traveling to Oklahoma. Unfortunately their time together was cut short when Kenneth became ill.
Kenneth was preceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jerry Stone, and Gene Stone.
He is survived by his wife Vicki of Lexington, one brother, Charles Stone of Weatherford, Texas, and one nephew, Gene Stone Jr. of Weatherford, Texas.
