Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park - Eastern Ave.It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth W. Stone. He was a devoted father, cherished family member, and steadfast friend, who left this world on February 23, 2006 at the age of 78. His departure leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but his love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will remain with all who knew him. Kenneth was born on July 22, 1947 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Kenneth dedicated his life to the Air Force, where he proudly served as a jet mechanic, crew chief, and lastly as a senior master sergeant in charge of a newly formed tactical combat arm school at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kenneth had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and heard. Whether through a shared story, a piece of thoughtful advice, or his simple presence, he touched countless lives. He found joy in the everyday moments like family dinners, weekend projects, and the quiet comfort of being together. His legacy is one of love, humility, and generosity. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Manzanares and his son Brian Stone and his beloved departed wife Lois Stone to whom he was married to for 50 years. His children will carry forward his memory in their hearts, their traditions, and their lives. Though he is no longer here to walk beside us, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave will continue to shape our days. A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held on where family and friends are invited together, share memories, and honor of the extraordinary man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Wounded Warriors or Tunnels to Towers Foundation, organizations close to his heart. May his soul rest in peace, and may we forever feel his presence in the love he left behind.
