Kenneth G. "Kenny" Sweet
Mr. Kenneth G. "Kenny" Sweet, age 87, died on Friday, January 24th at the Life Care Center of Stoneham. He was the beloved husband and partner for 47 years of Dorothy (Merlina) Sweet.
Born in Stoneham, Mr. Sweet was the son of the late Levi A. Sweet and Catherine B. (Steele) Sweet. Kenny worked as a mason and was a proud member of Laborers' Local 22. He was a "jack of all trades" around the house and was happiest when repairing something.
Kenny and Dottie could often be seen at many dances and holiday parties together. They were the life of the party with many wonderful lifelong friends. All holidays were special with Christmas lights and blow-up characters filling the yard much to the joy of his grandchildren and neighbors.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Sweet is survived by his two sons, David J. Sweet of Tewksbury, MA and and Kenneth D. Sweet of Plaistow, NH, and his two step-children, Mark S. Marciano and his wife Kelly of Hampton, NH and Ann Marie Marciano and her husband Dennis of Rowley, MA. Cherished grandfather of Tyler MacDonald-Marciano, Olivia Marciano-Pollock, Joshua and Colby Huber, Cody Duncan, and Emma, Holly, Joseph and Patricia Sweet.
He was predeceased by grandson, David P. Sweet, and step-son, Joseph T. Marciano, Jr.
He was also predeceased by his beloved siblings, Arthur A. Sweet and wife, Kathleen Sweet and husband, Carlon Sweet and wife, Betty Sweet and husband, and Harold Sweet and wife.
