Kenneth Tesch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah on Jan. 13, 2026.
Kenneth P. Tesch Sr. age 91, of Warrens, Wisconsin, was called to eternal peace on Monday, January 12, 2026. He was born October 4, 1934, to Oscar and Anita (Margraf) Tesch in West Bend, WI. On November 6, 1954, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ilecki. Together they raised their family in Slinger, Wisconsin.
Kenneth dedicated more than 20 years of his career to Michels Construction Company in Milwaukee, where he worked proudly in the Water & Sewer department. In 1992, he and his wife, Patricia, made their home in Warrens, Wisconsin-a place where they built a life filled with love, family, and lasting memories.
A passionate outdoorsman, Kenneth found joy in hunting and fishing, but nothing meant more to him than the time he spent with his family and friends. He was a deeply loving and selfless man who consistently put others before himself. His generous spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to the people he cared about touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Kenneth will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.
He is survived by four children, Dolly (Bill) Henry, Susie Blahnik, Wynnie (John) Tesch, and Guy (Lisa) Tesch; 12 grandchildren, Sherry (Dwight) Johnson, Billy (Niki) Henry, Paula, Samantha, April (Justin) Ramthun, Bud Tesch, and Crystal (Cody) Mutz, Kenny Ray and Matthew Richardson, Vince Blahnik, Adam (Briana) Tesch and Hayley Tesch; great grandchildren, Kat (Mike) Loney, Jon Pineda, Natalie, Evan, and Alex Henry, Lillian and Bobby Tesch, Hazel, Iris, and Penelope Mutz, Jesse Tesch, Colton Blank, Noah and Ellie Ramthun, and Oliver and Dimitri Tesch; great-great grandchild, Quinn Loney; sister, Sue Degeler, and brother, Ron Degeler; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Anita, his wife, Patricia; son, Ba Tesch; and brothers, David and John Degeler.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Pastor Shane Haynes will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Friday from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of the service at the funeral home.
