Laird Tesch Obituary
Laird John Tesch was born on February 15, 1943, in Rochester, MN to Lester and Esther (Wilken) Tesch. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1961. He then attended Rochester Jr. College for two years, followed by Mankato State University.
He worked for several years at Barry Plumbing in Rochester and ultimately started his own business, Action Plumbing and Heating, in the mid 1980's until his retirement in 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly; one daughter, Jill Tesch; two sons, Jason Tesch and Aaron (Becca) Tesch, all of Rochester, MN; four sisters, JoAnn Westra of Stewartville, MN, Pam Farrington, Carol (Charlie) Geselle of Rochester, MN, Faye (Rick) Fisher of Apache Junction, AZ; two grandsons, Miles and Levi Tesch; granddaughter, Carley Tesch; nieces and nephews; and former wife, Teri Tesch.
Laird was preceded in death by his father and mother; son, Nathan Tesch; and sister, Twila Nielsen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, MN.
