Kenneth Tidwell, a devoted family man and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on June 2, 1944, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Kenneth’s life was a testament to the connections he forged with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom that will resonate in the hearts of many.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his spouse, Vonda Faye Tidwell; parents, John Lester and Mildred Ozell Tidwell; and sister, Peggy Sue Stevens.

Kenneth dedicated his life to nurturing and supporting his friends and family. People often found warmth in his affectionate demeanor, and he readily lent a helping hand whenever it was needed. His selflessness was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kenneth relished in moments spent fishing, camping, and embarking on motorcycle trips. His passion was not just for adventure, but also for creating lasting memories. A true enthusiast of gatherings, he filled the holidays with joy and laughter, embodying the spirit of Santa Claus at Christmas celebrations.

Kenneth cherished good food, delighting in the legendary liver and onions, pinto beans, cornbread, and sausage balls. These meals, often shared with family and friends, were not merely sustenance but comfort foods that brought family together around the table.

Kenneth had a profound appreciation for nature and beautiful sights. His favorite places included the mountains, the Biltmore Mansion, Graceland, and the vibrant atmosphere of Saints’ Stadium. Each location held a special place in his heart and served as a backdrop for many cherished memories.
