Kenneth Turner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home on Dec. 13, 2025.
Kenneth Dale Turner Sr, age 67, of Boaz, went to his heavenly home December 11, 2025, at
Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

He was born on August 24, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1976, Kenny enlisted in the
United States Marine Corps. Shortly after returning home from boot camp, he married the love
of his life, Charlotte Graham. Their earthly marriage ended abruptly with the unexpected passing
of Charlotte in 2024. Together, they built a beautiful legacy, raising three children and being blessed with five
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, with many more generations yet to come. Kenny
loved his family with fierce dedication and inspired all who knew him to love more deeply, live
more boldly, and be better in every way.

Kenny's passions included football and fast cars, both of which he joyfully shared with those he
loved most. Above all, family was his greatest love. He was, and will always be, the embodiment
of strength, maturity, and unwavering devotion-the foundation and guiding example for the
Turner family.

Viewing for family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 12 p.m. until
1 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home in Warrior with services to follow. Brother Mark
Turner will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Kenneth is survived by his baby sister, Sheila Mitchell (Jerry) Son, Kenneth Dale Turner Jr and
wife Jessica, and his daughter Samantha Yvonne Odale Walkowski and husband Brandon;
grandchildren Justus Holland, Zachary Turner (Mallory), Seth Turner (Aurora), Deshawn Grace,
and Charlotte Turner, great grandchildren, Saigelynn Holland, Carter Holland, MaKenna Turner,
and Isabella Turner.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jasper Ellis Turner; mother, Ida Odell McCarter Turner;
son, Anthony Lee Wayne Turner; wife, Charlotte Naomie Graham Turner; brothers, Talmadge
Ray Turner, Timothy Lee Turner, Richard Turner and Stephen Ellis Turner.
