Kenneth Vining Obituary
Ken was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Orlando, Fla. He joined the U.S. Navy, was an electrician's mate in 1966, and retired after 21 years as electrician's mate chief petty officer. After his military service, he worked at Electric Boat.
He is survived by two sons, Paul Vining and Mark Vining; one stepson, Michael Martin; one sister; Carol Breedlove; and his longtime partner, Theresa Taro and her family.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London. A prayer service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Connecticut Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown.
