Kenneth W. Wade

Kenneth Wayne Wade, born October 4th, 1934, went Home to be with His Savior, whom he loved and served so faithfully, on March 17th, 2026.

He is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Sherry Wade, and their beloved daughters, Karen Justice and Melissa Wade. He is also being deeply missed by eight grandchildren: Daniel Justice, Elyse Zimmerman, Blake Calvelage, Sarah Rogers, Martha Howell, Evan Justice, Hope Bailey, and Sharon Justice, as well as their spouses. He was adored by great-grandchildren: Avery and Adeline, Liam, Cole, Ezra, Maya, and Reid, Clayton, Scottlyn and Raylan, and Carter, McKenna, and Blaine, with his fourteenth great-grandchild yet to be born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Daniel Wade and Sarah Burris Wade, and siblings, Hazel Roop, Herbert Wade, Leroy Wade, Carl Wade, Reva Coward, Lois Williams, and Murriel Wade, as well as son-in-law, Jeffrey Justice.

He was surrounded by his family as he woke up in heaven, well and whole, and no doubt immediately singing praises to the Lord; now face-to face.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st, at Beaver Dam Baptist Church 4328 East Emory Road, Knoxville.

The time of visiting will begin at 11:00 am with the service to follow at noon.

Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway is serving the family of Mr. Wade.
