French Funerals & Cremations - Golf Course & ParadiseBarbara Ann Wade, 84, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Barbara was born on September 25, 1941, in Tucson, Arizona, to Robert and Mary Jones. From an early age, she lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, and devotion to others. She was known for her gentle spirit, warm humor, unwavering dedication to her family, and her deep, abiding faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Barbara's greatest calling and joy was her family. She poured her heart into raising her five children, nurturing seventeen grandchildren, and delighting in her many great grandchildren. To them, she was lovingly known as "Mamoo," a name synonymous with unconditional love, encouragement, and steadfast presence. Mamoo never missed a sporting event, eagerly played games with the kids, and opened her home for joyful, large family gatherings filled with laughter, love, and-of course-her famous tacos.
Above all, she lived her faith daily. She was a peacemaker, a prayer warrior, and a quiet example of Christ's love to everyone she encountered. Her life reflected the words of Scripture:
"She is clothed with strength and dignity"
- Proverbs 31:25
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, William Wade, and their children:
• Timi Reeves and spouse Donald (children: Kyle and Melissa, Kelly and Jessica, Kori and Tony, Ryan and Lauren),
• Lory Lawson and spouse Brad (children: Noelle and Edward, Ashley and Adam, Morgan and Greggory),
• Sheri Brudos (children: Kevin and Vanessa, Kerry, Brittany and Reggie, Kaitlyn),
• Bo Wade and spouse Debbie (children: Tyler and Sami, Jordan, Alyssa, Tanner and Jamie),
• Michelle Harmon and spouse Chuck (children: Charlie and Ashlie, Kelsey).
She was preceded in death by her parents and several beloved siblings, whom she now joyfully rejoins in Heaven.
A Celebration of Life honoring Mamoo will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm at French's Funeral Home, 9300 Golf Course Rd NW, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Donations can be made in her memory to Calvary Church Albuquerque.
Mamoo's life was a testimony of faith fulfilled:
"Well done, good and faithful servant."
- Matthew 25:21
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, laughter, compassion, faith, and strength.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God."
- Matthew 5:9
Mamoo's legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the faith she so beautifully lived.
