Kenneth Richard Wagner

Kenneth Richard Wagner, known to most as "Ken,' passed away on December 30, 2023 at 5:33 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born on June 27, 1941, in Warsaw to the late Charles Wagner and Helen Phillps Wagner. He was 82 at the time of his passing. 

Ken's early career was marked by his exceptional skills as a mechanic. He started working for Boeing Aircraft, where he showcased his talent and dedication. Later in life, he transitioned to United Telephone (Sprint), where he continued to excel in his craft. 

Before embarking on his professional journey, Ken attended Warsaw High School and honorably served in the United States Army. 

In addition to his hard working nature, Ken found great joy in the outdoors and truly enjoyed fishing and hunting. Ken's passion for nature stemmed from a deep appreciation for God's creations.

He was a devoted member of the North Webster United Methodist Church and the North Webster American Legion. Ken embraced his community with open arms.He actively participated in both organizations, forging lasting bonds with fellow members who shared his values.

Ken had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and liked reading books about history. He also had a soft spot for animals, particularly his beloved cat who provided companionship during quiet evenings at home.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Targgart Nulf Wagner of North Webster and children: Jeremy Wagner of Disko, Jessica (Lenny) Neff of Warsaw, Curtis Wagner of Beaver Crossing, SD, and Stacy Wagner of Wichita, KS - all of whom held a special place in his heart. Ken's two step-sons, John (Kathy) Nulf of Warsaw and Kent Nulf of Leesburg, were also cherished members of his family. As are 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his parents and by two siblings, Charles Wagner, Jr and Phyllis Wagner.

Titus Funeral Home, located at 8056 East 500 North, North Webster, is entrusted with care of Ken and his blended family. A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2023 in the  Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Rogers will officiate the funeral which will start at 2 pm.
