Kenneth Elbert Walker

Kenneth E. Walker, 86, passed away peacefully at his home in Sarasota, FL. on Sunday November, 23rd. 2025, after a long illness. Kenneth was born November 11, 1939, in Rochester, NY. and grew up in Penfield, NY. the son of the late Kenneth N. Walker and Thelma (Lindsay). Before moving to Florida, Kenneth lived in Clifton Springs, NY. where he worked for Stromberg-Carlson. He later moved to Lake Mary, FL. where he retired from Siemens. Kenneth was a proud graduate of Penfield High School and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he received his degree in Engineering. Kenneth honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years and received several medals for marksmanship, an achievement of which he was especially proud.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joyce Ann (Dalton) of Pulaski, VA; his daughter Kimberly Ann (John Burton); his son, Kristopher Walker (Wendy); William Weaver, II (Jackie); his sisters, Jennifer Brown (Taylor) and Joann Walker; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Charles N. Walker.
A private graveside has been held at Thornspring Cemetery in Pulaski. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to your local humane society.
