Kenneth Lee Ward, 47, of Westernport, MD, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. Born on December 7, 1977, in Indiana, he was the son of the late John Ward and Peggy Ward, who survives.

Ken was a graduate of Kokoma Christian Academy. He was a great athlete, and he always proudly held the cross-country championship title. After high school, he enlisted in the military, serving for 16 years in the United States Army, and later worked as a truck driver. In his spare time, he loved to fish and was a devoted animal lover. Ken was a dedicated husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Robyn (Cook) Ward; children, Willow and Mariska Ward; sisters, April Morgan and Dawn Herring, brother-in-law, John W. Cook; sister-in-law's, Delores Clemons and husband Carl, Dawn Cook, and Nancy Cook; mother and father-in-law, Brenda and John Cook II; and his uncle and aunt, ET and Joan Dize.

Friends will be received on December 3, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A. - Oakland Chapel, 21 N 2nd Street, Oakland. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 1 PM with Pastor Ed Clemons, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at the Broadwater Cemetery.
