Fagan's Funeral HomeKenneth Wheaton age 83 left us on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 and is now reunited with his beloved wife of 50 years Bette Lou. Ken was born in Cohocton, NY on March 16, 1942, the son of the late Clifford and Arlene Wheaton. He graduated from Haverling High School and later became a Top Salesman for Consolidated Freightway in Elmira, NY. He also loved to play golf and go to the VFW to be with his friends. He was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 in Bath, Bath B.P.O.E. 1547 and the Bath V.F.W. 1470.
Ken was predeceased by his sister Nancy Moore and brother Robert Wheaton.
He is survived by his daughter, Jodi (Ken) Loucks, and sons, Tyler (Melissa) Wheaton and Jason Wheaton; grandchildren, Jessica Monahan, Joshua Loucks, Skylar, Dakota, Edward, Raelyn and Michael Wheaton, and Alevea Beers; great grandchildren, Aubriella Nevius and Karli Joseph, and his great-great-grandson Kaysen Hamilton.
Family and friends are invited to the VFW in Bath on March 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Per his request burial will be for family only at a later date in Nondaga Cemetery.
