Kenneth Ray Wilhoit of London, Kentucky was born on July 1, 1951, in Laurel County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late John Wilhoit and Lennie Jones Wilhoit. Kenneth was united in marriage to his devoted wife, Carol Yaden Wilhoit, who survives. Together, they built a loving home and life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

He is also survived by two loving children, Doug Wilhoit and Lennie Feltner (husband Calvin), all of London; four siblings, Eddie Wilhoit (wife Cathy), Billie Evans, Sue Reams, and Marilyn McVay, also of London; and three cherished granddaughters, Makenna Wilhoit, Callie Feltner, and Carleigh Feltner, who he lovingly referred to as his "three ole buddies". Kenneth leaves behind a host of other dear family members and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings: Donald Wilhoit, Johnny Wilhoit, Ronald Wilhoit, Jan Bollinger, Margaret Brown, Nancy Brown, Helen Hale, and Lois Hale.

Kenneth Ray Wilhoit went home to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 27 days of age.

Kenneth was a member of Laurel River Missionary Baptist Church, where his faith was a cornerstone of his life. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. A lifelong farmer, Kenneth found deep joy and purpose in working the land - a testament to his unwavering work ethic and dedication to providing for his family.

Above all, Kenneth was a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather, and faithful friend. His legacy of love, service, and hard work will live on in all who knew and loved him.

The funeral service for Kenneth Ray Wilhoit will be conducted at 12:30 pm Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Harris and Eddie Wilhoit officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel River Cemetery in London.
