Betty Ruth Wilhoit passed away July 15th, 2025 in Columbia, Missouri. Betty was born in February 1931 near Triplett, Missouri to Leslie and DeEsta (Rimmer) Wahlbrink, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Keytesville High School and attended Kirksville State Teacher's College. She was a schoolteacher for five years. Betty was united in marriage to Lowell Rutherford Wilhoit on May 21, 1954. She then became a farm homemaker, which she greatly enjoyed. She was occasionally a substitute teacher at Keytesville School.
She and Lowell enjoyed serving God and having fellowship with friends in many different places.
Betty is survived by her children, Laurinda Littleton (Jerry) of Keytesville, MO, and Lowell Galen (Heidi) of Ashland, MO; grandchildren Jerra Alumbaugh (Landon), Kendall Littleton (Kelsey), Brady and Karenna Wilhoit, step-grandson Brian Littleton; great-grandchildren Rhys, Rhylen, Rowen, Annika, Alexei, and Axton Alumbaugh, Hudson, Dawson, and Ellis Littleton, and step great-granddaughter Brett (Littleton) Black.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lowell; a daughter, Sharon Deanna Wilhoit; brothers, George Leroy Wahlbrink and Wayne L. Wahlbrink; and an aunt, Mary Helen (Wahlbrink) Wilhoit.
