MILLINGTON – Mr. Kenneth L. “Ken” Wilson, aged 94, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Ken was born on November 10, 1931, in Flint, Michigan, to O.D. & Fern Wilson (née Whitney). He was one of seven children and grew up in the Flint area. On October 25, 1952, he married the love-of-his-life, Marion H. Neph. Together they shared countless memories, raised their sons, Chuck and Rod, and celebrated 60 years of marriage before Marion’s passing in 2013. Ken retired from Buick City as an assemblyman in 1980. Ken enjoyed all that the outdoors had to offer and was an avid deer hunter. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, and he had previously served in the National Guard. Ken had an affinity for working on cars and one could often find him wrenching on a vehicle in the driveway. Above all, Ken’s happiest moments were spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Chuck (Vickie) Wilson, and Rod (Nancy) Wilson; grandchildren: Ken, Kathy, Jodi, Michael, and Melissa; eleven great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Ken is reunited with his beloved wife, Mrs. Marion H. Wilson; parents; and all his siblings.
Ken’s family will receive visitors at Hanlin Funeral Home – Millington from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026; visitation at church will begin at 12:00 PM and last until the time of service.
The family would like to thank his granddaughter, Jodi Lewis, and Residential Hospice for their compassionate care of Ken in his final days.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
