Kenneth Ray Wolf Jr. , 29 of Balsam Grove, passed at home peacefully on January 1, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kenny was born August 23, 1996 in
Cleveland, Ohio to Kenneth Ray Wolf Sr. and Sarah Melisa Dugan who both survive him and reside in Orma, WV.
He was preceded in death by his loving maternal grandfather, Walter Newsham; father-in-law and friend, Glen Judd; and precious aunt, Misty Lynn Wolf, among other family members.
He is survived by his devoted wife Vada Wolf and son Dillard Walter Wolf of Balsam Grove; sisters Anita Wolf (Joey) of
Cleveland, OH and Nikki Badalamenti (Dino) of Parkersburg, WV; grandparents Anita Newsham of
Cleveland, OH and Jean & Bill Wolf of Ashley, IN; mother-in-law April Judd of Balsam Grove, NC; nephews Oliver and Desmond Badalamenti; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Kenny proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Ground Radio Repairman. The Marine brotherhood remained close to his heart. Following his service, he built lasting friendships working at Triangle Stop and the United States Postal Service in
Brevard, NC.
Kenny was a devoted husband and loving father who deeply cherished his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and shooting sports. He was the type to show up for friends in need and help turtles cross the road. Kenny will be remembered fondly for his joyful sense of humor, kind heart, and contagious smile.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
