Kenneth Robert Woods, 80

Kenneth Robert Woods of Lake Wales passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at George C. Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.

He was born February 18, 1945 in Lake Wales to the late Murdock and Merle Woods. Kenneth was an industrial parts salesman for Motion Industries and served with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a devoted member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Kenneth spent time woodworking and enjoyed the occasional cigar. He loved to be with his family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Woods; and sister-in-law, Trish Woods. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Freda Woods; daughters, Sindy Miller and husband Deke of Vero Beach, Gail Respress and husband Greg of Frostproof; sons, John Woods and wife Summer of Bartow, Chuck Coffman and wife Deanne of Greeley, Colorado; sister, Myrna Garner and husband Charles of Apopka; brother, Terry Landon and husband Paul of Pompano Beach; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor David Williams, Pastor Garison Taylor, and Rev. Deke Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.

Dad, you will be missed forever and always you´ve taught us so many wonderful and amazing life lessons and I wanna tell you I´m so happy that I was able to become part of your family when I married your son, because you raised an amazing and wonderful man. We love you and Little greatly miss you, but we will honor you and we will let all of your great grandchildren know all about how much of a wonderful granddad they had.
