Kenneth “Ken” James Woods, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away on November 5, 2025 at the age of 78.
Ken was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on October 8, 1947 to James and Edna Woods.
Ken had a calling to God at a very young age and spent his early adult life pursuing high degrees in Theology and Ministry. He devoted himself to the Church and was very active within it, spreading the word of God.
He worked as a Chemist in very large Indianapolis institutions and also taught college level Biology.
In his spare time he enjoyed being active in the Church, traveling, collecting coins, and studying Genealogy.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edna (Fitts) Woods and his loving wife, Margorie Woods.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories; his sons, Stephen and Robert Woods; siblings, Kathy Woods-Cooney, Kevin Woods and Kerry Woods; as well as a host of many grandkids, great-grandkids, family and friends.
