Kenneth Wright Obituary
September 1, 1946 - November 25, 2025
Ken (79 years old) was born in Pendleton, Oregon to Harold and Mary Wright. He was raised in Heppner, Oregon on the Wright Family Ranch at Ruggs as a 3rd generation rancher working side by side with his father, Harold.
Ken was active in sports and vocational agriculture. He began his trucking business transporting livestock from Oregon, Washington and California. He continued his career delivering propane until retirement in Bakersfield, CA.
Looking forward to vacations RVing along the central coast, he would meet and visit with neighboring campers who would soon find they were yearly RVing buddies. He enjoyed long scenic drives through the mountains because that was most relaxing to him. Attending country concerts was another favorite pass time, but when it comes to being at home, you better believe, he was either anticipating or watching an Oregon Ducks football game.
His life was defined by selflessness, hard work and unwavering love for his family and friends. His caring, calm and compassionate nature were an inspiration to all who met him. His memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was as an active member of the Shriners, Elks Lodge #358 and Scottish Rites Masons for over 50 years.
He leaves behind Fonda his longtime companion and best friend for 30 years, his children Kimberle, Nance, and Brent and many special grandchildren and great grandchildren and Fonda's children Travis and Brandi.
Celebration of Life to be held at Greenlawn Southwest, Tribute Center on December 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. (Lunch will be served)
