Kenneth "Ken" J. Zifko, age 66 of Ashland, WI passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, October 2, 2023. Ken was born on March 13, 1957 in Ashland, the son of Frank and Agnes (Schneider) Zifko.
Ken worked at the Pioneer Quick Lube for many years. He enjoyed meeting people, taking his 4-wheeler out on the trails, and spending quality time with his friends and family. Ken had an appreciation for the small things in life, the things most take for granted. Whether it was the first bloom of a flower in the spring, or the glow of the sunset on the lake, Ken would take the time to take it in and share it with those he loved.
He is survived by his children, Amanda (Brian) Wilmot, Jessica (Brad) Campbell, Derec Zifko, Kirstin (Anthony) Montemayor, Cameron Zifko and Grace Zifko; grandchildren, Hailey, Kayla, Cole, Mason, Mason and Harper; siblings, Tom (Barbara) Zifko, Judy (Robert) Boutin, Don (John Markus) Zifko, Joyce (Kathleen Russell) Zifko, Deb (Mike) Eder, Randy Zifko, Barb (Brett) Martinka, Rick (Erin) Zifko and Lori (Kyle) Schmidt and Lorraine (Babe) Zifko (sister in law); many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry and Gene Zifko; sister, Kathy; sisters in law, Cheryl Lynn Zifko, Mary Ann Zifko and Jeanice Zifko.
A private family celebration of life for Ken will be held in the near future.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mountain Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ashland and Mellen, WI.
