Kenny Borum

Kenny Borum, age 47, of 316 Ransom Road, Unadilla, died Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Kenny was born March 14, 1978, in Macon to Sara Bodrey Borum and the late Jimmy Borum. He spent most of his adult life working at, and later operating, Borum's Service Center in Unadilla with his parents. The business later became Contender Auto Services and Kenny served as the manager. It was here that his work ethic and honest approach with his customers led to him becoming a pillar of the Unadilla community.
When he wasn't working at the station, Kenny enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He loved being outdoors which was further demonstrated by his love of working with the cattle on his family farm. He also spent several years following in his father's footsteps, racing his # 58 car at the Watermelon Speedway in Cordele.
He was a member of Cross Point Baptist Church in Perry where he served on the Security Team and the Clarke small group.
Above all of this, Kenny's first love was spending time with his family who he loved beyond measure.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Judith White Borum; his daughter, Addison Borum; his son, Grant Borum; his mother, Sara Borum; his sister, Shelia Borum Fowler (Ken); father and mother-in-law, Jack and Sherry White; his sister and brother-in-laws, Julie White Terry (Billy) and Stephen White; his nieces and nephews, Andrew Fowler, Hannah Fowler, Hillary Fowler, Brennan Terry and Kaitlyn Terry.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, October 9 at Cross Point Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Wednesday, October 8 at Cross Point Baptist Church.
